10 Scriptures To Battle Against Insecurity, Low Self-Esteem, and Diminished Confidence
Hey there! Have you ever started to believe the lies of the enemy when he begins to tell you, you are less than? That you are ugly? That you will never accomplish your dreams? That nobody believes in you? Well, if you answered yes, you are not alone! I struggle to drown out the voice of the enemy almost daily (as painful as that is to admit). In the spirit of transparency, earlier today I found myself in a pity party, that threatened my self-esteem and my confidence and I needed to remember the only weapon I have... the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. I have compiled a list of 10 scriptures that I believe are powerful, true, and worthy of repeating each time the enemy strikes.
1. You Are: A Masterpiece!
Ephesians 2:10
"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
2. You Are: The Apple of HIS Eye
Deuteronomy 32:10
"In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye,"
3. You Are: The Works of HIS Hands
Psalm 111:7
"The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy."
4. You Are: Fearfully & Wonderfully Made
Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
5. You Are: Loved With an UNFAILING Love
Psalm 63:3
"Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!"
